A. Margaret Hinman, 95

FULTON, NY – A. Margaret Hinman, 95, of Fulton, died Tuesday January 1, 2013, at St. Luke Health Services in Oswego.

Born in Fulton, she had resided in the Fulton area most of her life.

Mrs. Hinman retired from General Electric of Liverpool after 17 years.

She was a member of the Bristol Hill Congregational United Church of Christ in Volney.

She was also a member of the Phoenix and Palermo senior citizens clubs.

She was predeceased by her husband, Paul A. Hinman, who died in 1988; brothers, Paul and Donald Dexter; a sister-in-law, Alice Dexter.

Surviving: four sons, Douglas P. (Gail) and Allen F.(Lorayne) Hinman both of Palermo, James L. (Susan) Hinman of Fulton and David E. (Greg) Hinman of Spencer; a daughter, Janet I. (William) Carp of Palermo; two sisters, Susan Bleck of Fulton and Betty Clark of California; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held 1 to 5 p.m. with services at 5 p.m. Saturday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.

Pastor Andrew Hinman will officiate.

Spring burial at Upson’s Corners Cemetery in Palermo.
