FULTON – Beverley J. Sanford, 95 of Volney, NY passed away at home August 31, 2026. Born November 25, 1930, in Volney, to the late Harold and Susie Bellinger Hubbard, she had resided in the Volney area her entire life. She worked for Sealright, Victoria Paper Mills and Nestle Company all in Fulton.
Beverley enjoyed crafts, knitting and crocheting. Beverley was an active member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church acting on many committees and singing in the choir and was a former member of the Elizabeth Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Fay in 2005; two brothers, Dr. Richard Hubbard and Amos Hubbard and sisters, Marlene Rusaw and Barbara Hubbard. Beverley will be greatly missed and forever loved by three daughters, Rhonda Sanford of Port Charlotte, FL., Shelley Leccese and Christilee (Edward) Proto both of Fulton; six grandchildren, Danielle, Antonio, Ondine, Lisi, Audrey and Autumn; two great grandchildren, Jessica and Charlie; bonus grandchildren, Robert and Patrick Mason; sister, Audrey Motyka and dear family friend, Cheryl Barnett.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026, from 4pm to 6pm at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St. Fulton. A funeral service celebrating Beverley’s life will be held at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, County Route 45, Volney on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 11am. Burial will immediately follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery where she’ll be laid to rest with her beloved husband, Fay.
