Camella L. Nucifora, 96

Camella L. Nucifora, 96, of Fulton, died Sunday, August 15th at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse. She owned and operated John Nucifora Florist in Fulton with her husband from 1932 until her retirement in 1990. A devout Catholic, she was a communicant of Holy Family Church, Fulton. Camella loved gardening and cooking for her family and friends. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who will be greatly missed by her family. She was predeceased by her husband, John, who died in 1963.

Surviving are her daughters, Marianne Shaw of Snyder and Joan Nucifora of Fulton; grandchildren, Carol (James) Yoos, James (Nina) Shaw, Timothy (Holly) Shaw and Daniel (Lorie) Shaw; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Jesse, Rachel, Kaleigh and Julia Shaw and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m., Thursday, August 19th at Holy Trinity Church, corner of Rochester and South Third Streets, Fulton with burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Fulton. Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. Contributions in memory of Camella Nucifora may be made to a favorite charity of your choice.
