FULTON – Carleea Leanna Holland, a beloved mother, partner, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 18th, 2026, at the age of 42. Born on Sunday, July 17th, 1983, in Evansville, Indiana, Carleea was the cherished daughter of the late Herman Roy Monroe and Carole Ann Monroe.
Carleea spent her early years in Cynthiana, Indiana, and graduated from Harrison High School in Evansville. She was a dedicated home health aide employed by Nascentia Health in Syracuse, NY, where her natural caregiving spirit shone brightly. Carleea was pursuing her nursing degree, driven by her passion for helping others and her unwavering faith in God.
A resident of Fulton, New York, Carleea was known for her love of cooking and her talent for creating delicious meals for her family. She found joy in the outdoors, often spending time with her family and her beloved dog, Luca. Her strong faith and love for animals were central to her life.
Carleea is survived by her loving partner, Adam Klaifle, and her children, Caleb Lantrip of Fulton, NY, and Alexis Morrison Quick of Evansville, Indiana. She also leaves behind her siblings: Lisa Cooke Millsap (Frank) of Evansville, Indiana; Morisa Gibson Cleveland (Charlie) of New Harmony, Indiana; Morleea (Leea) Gibson (Abdi) of Apple Valley, Minnesota; Morris L. Gibson (Lizette) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Roy Monroe of Burnsville, Minnesota. Carleea was a cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman Roy Monroe and Carole Ann Monroe.
Carleea’s memory will forever be cherished by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her compassionate spirit and loving nature have left an indelible mark on the hearts of many.
