Charles R. Bolster, 69

FULTON, NY – Charles R. Bolster, 69, of Fulton, passed away on Thursday November 6, 2014, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse.

Born in Batavia, he lived in Fulton most of his life.

Charlie was a retired truck driver who had worked for Pro Links Trucking and Arnold Trucking both in Syracuse and Rollway Bearing in Liverpool.

He had attended the River of Life Assembly of God Church in Fulton where he spent many hours as grounds keeper.

Charlie was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran serving in Vietnam.

He enjoyed woodworking and Bluegrass music.

Charlie was predeceased by his mother and step-father, Doris and Peter Caltabiano.

Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Sharon Neivel Bolster of Fulton; three children, Veronica (Jim Ducker) Bolster-Cronk of Fulton, David (Lisa) Bolster of Walworth, Wisc., and Tonia (David) Scoville of Fulton; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday November 9 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton, with services at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Burial with military honors will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, County Route 45, Fulton.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to a favorite charity.
