OSWEGO COUNTY – July 14, 2025, Charles R. Lindo, 86, of Sterling, NY, died on July 14, 2025. Born in Fulton, NY to the late C. Arthur and Frances (Crandell) Lindo. Predeceased by her sister Carolyn and her husband Rae Schultz, and brother in law Charles Burghart. Chuck was a 55+ year member of the Carpenter’s Local 277 also proudly serving on their executive board. He was a founding member of the Bayside Cruises car club in Fair Haven, NY, an American Legion member and Army veteran. Chuck enjoyed traveling and RVing, playing golf with his family and many friends, wintering in Florida with the crew, having a good party, and restoring his ‘48 olds. He was an avid woodworker but above all, his favorite thing was spending time with his family.
Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Carol B. Lindo; daughter, Laurie (Joe) Heuser; sons, Tom (Kristy), Mike (Barb); five grandchildren, Seth (Lauren), Molly (Kevin), Matt (Katie), Adam, and Alex; great grandchildren, Sarah, Skyler, Addison, and Emma; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 2-4 pm on Saturday, July 26 at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga Street, Hannibal with a service to immediately follow at 4 pm. A private burial will be in Springbrook Cemetery.
