Chester “Nick” Rapacke, 83

FULTON – Chester “Nick” Rapacke, 83, of Fulton passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 16, 2026. He was born in Fulton, the third son of the late Chester and Agnes Yasko Rapacke and was a lifelong resident. Nick was a well-known citizen, helping anyone who needed yard care or lawn mowing around town. He had retired after many years as a dedicated employee with the City of Fulton. Nick enjoyed watching baseball and was a die-hard Yankees fan.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Edward Rapacke and Robert Rapacke.

Nick will be greatly missed by his sister, Sheila Rapacke, of Baton Rouge, LA; brother, John (Donna) Rapacke of Marcellus, NY; sister-in-law, Jan Rapacke, of Sebastian, FL; nephews, Michael Rapacke and Andrew Rapacke; nieces, Mary Rapacke and Cynthia Betz, along with his special friend, Crystal English.

Calling hours will be Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a service to immediately follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton, NY 13069. Private burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton, will be at a later date.
