David “Dave” L. Crawford

OSWEGO – David “Dave” L. Crawford, a beloved husband, brother, and friend, passed away on Sunday, February 15th, 2026, at the age of 69 in Oswego, NY. Born on March 4th, 1956, in Fulton, New York. Dave was a cherished member of the community who touched the lives of many.

Dave is survived by his devoted wife of 49 years, Cynthia S. Crawford, of Oswego, NY. He is also survived by his siblings, Randi Webster, Karen Crawford, Donna Brooks, and Carl (Kathy) Crawford. Dave leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and numerous friends who will dearly miss him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil F. Crawford and Mildred L. Crawford, and his sister, Shirley Erb.

For 35 years, Dave dedicated his professional life to Novelis in Scriba, NY, where he served as a respected Crew Leader until his retirement. His colleagues remember him not only for his leadership but also for his unwavering work ethic and camaraderie. Dave had a passion for working on tractors and found joy in buying used lawnmowers, repairing them, and selling them. A skilled handyman, he was always ready to lend a helping hand to friends and family. In his younger years, Dave and Cynthia enjoyed traveling together, creating cherished memories that would last a lifetime.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Dave’s life at calling hours on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, from 1 pm to 3 pm, followed by a funeral service at 3 pm at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton, NY.
