FULTON, NY – David “DJ” Mason, 46, of Fulton, died Friday August 16, 2013.
He lived all his life in the Fulton-Volney area.
DJ worked as a laborer at Fulton Springs and Gypsum Express.
DJ was a loving, kind hearted father, brother, uncle and friend.
He loved spending time with his kids, enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping and going to the races.
DJ also enjoyed helping his community by volunteering his free time with the Volney Volunteer Fire Department.
DJ touched the lives of many.
He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone.
He will truly be missed and forever be in our heart and soul.
When he went to heaven to be with our great Lord, he took a part of us with him.
Fly high DJ, we love you.
DJ is survived by his three children: Tyler David Mason, Jordyn Taylor Mason and Dylan Scott Mason all of Fulton; his parents, David and Eulia Mason of Fulton; two brothers, Edward (RobbieLynn) Mason of Phoenix and Richard Mason of Hannibal; three sisters, Wendy (James) Emond of Granby, Roberta (Edward) Weldin of Fulton and Michelle Mason of Oswego; former wife, Tommi Mason of Volney; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday with services to follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
