
FULTON – February 27, 2025, It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Deborah Ann Slaver, who left this world on February 27, 2025, at the age of 63. Deborah was born on January 21, 1962, and lived a life filled with love, creativity, and dedication to her family.
Deborah devoted her life to her husband, Paul Slaver, whom she cherished for 43 beautiful years. Together, they built a joyful home and raised three wonderful children; Kristy Garrison (Robert), Pamela Geremski (Richard), and Paul Slaver II. Deborah’s heart swelled with love for her grandchildren: Jaymes Garrison, Hunter Garrison, Kennedy Slaver, Ryker Slaver, Greyson Smith, Aidan Geremski, Ethan Geremski, and Evan Geremski. She embraced the role of great-grandmother to Adelynn and Layla Garrison. She wore her title of “Nana” with pride and found immense happiness in their laughter and achievements.
Deborah was predeceased by her stepfather, Ken Roberts and her in-laws, Frank and Mildred Slaver. She is survived by her mother Sallie Roberts and father Michael Kimpland (Lillian) and five beloved siblings Gregory Roberts (Andrea), Kennedy Roberts (Kathy), Steven Kimpland (Tammy), Michael Kimpland, and Teresa Kleffel (Jim), along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family who loved her dearly.
A gifted artisan, Deborah found peace and joy in hobbies such as sewing, crafting, and reading. Her hands created not just objects but also moments that will linger in the hearts of her loved ones- each stitch a memory, each crafted piece a symbol of her dedication to beauty and love.
In respecting her final wishes, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CNY Hospice. https://www.hospicecny.org/. Foster Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
