Diane M. Lopez

OSWEGO – Diane M. Lopez, born September 30, 1952 was a lifelong resident of Oswego, New York, passed away on November 14, 2022.

Diane was predeceased by her parents, Donald and Shirley Thompson; siblings, Pam McRae, Carol Polisse and Donald Thompson Jr.

Diane is survived by her loving companion, Kenneth “Mark” Groat of 39 years; her only child, Steven M. (Cheryl) Lopez; her siblings, Alice Szymanski, Kellie Thompson, and Joseph Thompson; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She loved family outings to Fairhaven as well as her trips to the local Ontario Orchards and lunch dates at Rudy’s with her son. She enjoyed her time with her family over holidays and family trips. She was a kind woman with a sweet soul who will be missed by all.
