Donna M. McFarland, 52, of Hannibal died Thursday surrounded by her family after losing her battle with breast cancer.
She was born in Fulton, the daughter of Donald and Beverly Dunham. Donna graduated from Fulton High School and S.U.N.Y. Oswego. She served in the U.S. Army from 1977 to 1979. Donna was a computer programmer for several local companies. She was a member of A.B.A.T.E. of Oswego County. Donna enjoyed camping, motorcycles and computers. She was predeceased by her father, Donald Dunham who died in 1982.
Donna is survived by her husband of 23 years, Andy A. McFarland; daughter, Candra R. McFarland-Gawarecki of Oswego; son, Clint Peterson of Hannibal; mother, Beverly Dunham of Hannibal; brother, Barry Dunham of Fulton; two grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew.
Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 13, 2010 with a service to follow at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga St., Hannibal.
Donna’s family would like to thank the staff at Upstate Medical University’s Oswego Clinic for everything they did to make an impossible situation bearable.
