Donna P. VanAuken

OSWEGO COUNTY – July 15, 2026, Donna P. VanAuken, 76, of Phoenix, NY passed away peacefully on July 15th, 2026. She was born in Fulton, NY to Donald and Theresa Gardner and attended Phoenix Central Schools. She worked as a hairdresser for many years before going into the field of payroll at Community Bank and Syracuse Homes where she retired.

Donna was an Auxiliary member of the American Legion. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially at Copper Lake and on wine tours, quilting and traveling with friends.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Craig VanAuken of 19 years, parents Donald and Theresa Gardner, brother Dana Gardner and sister Debi Daniels.

She is survived by her children Travis (Tricia) Griffin, Richelle (Don) Hunt, Scott (Linda) Griffin and Julie Griffin; her grandchildren Griffin, Casey, Donja, Kelly, Ethan, Connor, Mattie, Aidan and great-grandchild Easton.

Calling Hours will be held on Friday, July 24 from 5pm until 7pm at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton, NY.
