FULTON, NY – Dorothy Carter, 89, of Fulton, passed away peacefully Thursday evening August 15, 2013, at the Syracuse Home in Baldwinsville.
Born in Hannibal, she lived in the Fulton – Hannibal area all her life.
Mrs. Carter retired from Nestle Co., Fulton after 40 years of service.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Harry Bernard, who died in 1981; her second husband, Charles D. Carter, who died in 1997; two sisters, Alice Sheldon, in 2010, and Marjorie Dunsmoor, who died in 2002.
Mrs. Carter is survived by a brother, Frederick Scott of Honeoye Falls, NY; five step-children; several nieces and nephews; grandniece, Melanie Blasczieski of Fulton; a grandnephew, John Millen of Baldwinsville.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, August 23, at Hannibal Village Cemetery, Church Street, Hannibal.
