Edith I. Pierce, 81

FULTON, NY – Edith I. Pierce, 81, formerly of Fulton, passed away Friday August 30, 2013, at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse.

Born in Berlin, Germany, she had lived in the Fulton-Hannibal areas since 1957.

She was a skilled tailor and had retired from SYROCO after more than 20 years.

Edith was proud of her heritage and enjoyed Oktoberfest and was a member of German-American Society of Central NY.

She was predeceased by her brother, Jake; and sister, Giddy.

Edith will be greatly missed and forever loved by her companion of 33 years, John Holihan; children, Lori (Phillip) Bailey and William (Kim) Pierce Jr.; grandchildren, Jennifer and Mark Bailey; a brother and sister; several nieces and nephews.

There are no calling hours or services.
