Evelyn “Evie” Shear

FULTON- February 21, 2026, Evelyn V. “Evie” Shear, 105, of St. Cloud, Florida, formerly of Fulton, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2026. She was born in Boylston and lived most of her life in Mexico, Watertown, and Fulton before moving to St. Cloud in 2004. Evie worked at Comstock Foods, Birdseye Foods, and General Electric as a Line Leader and Union Steward. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed Bingo, crocheting, gardening and riding her three wheeled bike and scooter. Evie was a lifetime member of the Fulton V.F.W. Post #569 Ladies Auxiliary and a past member of their “Cootie” group. She was predeceased by her first husband, John Reynold in 1981; her second husband, Harold Shear in 1996; her son, John Reynolds in 2024; by two brothers and three sisters.

Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Diane Parsons; a son, John Reynolds; 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be from 11 am -12:30 pm on Wednesday, March 4 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton with a service to immediately follow at 12:30 pm. Burial will be in Vermillion Cemetery in the spring.
