Gene R. Schreyer, 73, of Fulton passed away Friday at home surrounded by his family.
He retired as an electronics technician with Fulton T.V. and Appliance. Gene served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was active in wildlife rehabilitation and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Gene was predeceased by his wife, Dona L. Schreyer, who died November 11, 2009 and by a son, David G. Schreyer, who died April 26, 2006.
He is survived by two sons, Dana (Robin) Schreyer and Thomas (Laura) Schreyer; a sister, Loretta Intelisano; a brother, Bruce Schreyer; two sisters-in-law, Judy A. Bisnett and Kathy J. Haase; five grandchildren, T.J., John, Alysia, Kaylee and Noah.
There are no calling hours or funeral services. Contributions in memory of Gene may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Syracuse, NY office, 6390 Fly Road, 2nd Floor, East Syracuse, NY 13057. Foster Funeral Home, Fulton has care of arrangements.
