Irvin R. “Butch†Taylor, 67, of Clay, died Friday at Seneca Hill Manor in Volney after a brief illness.
A native of Fulton, he resided in Clay for many years. Butch retired as an elementary school teacher from the Soule Road Elementary School in Liverpool after 24 years and he previously taught in the North Rose-Wolcott School District. He was predeceased by his father, Elmer E. Taylor who died in 1994.
Surviving are his mother, Marion Foster Taylor of Fulton; two sisters, Frances Sullivan and Lisa Taylor both of Fulton and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be private with burial at Mt. Adnah Cemetery in Fulton. Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
