FULTON – James E. Fellows, a beloved husband, brother, stepfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 2, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on August 28, 1959, in South Carolina, James was a cherished resident of Fulton, New York, where he built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

James is survived by his devoted wife of 23 years, Patricia Fellows. He leaves behind a large and loving family, including his siblings: Dorothy (Terry) Dery, Patti (Mark) Bristol, Brenda Leiste, Donna (Rodney) Blackmar, Linda (Al) Parlor, Bryan (Michelle) Fellows, and Carrie Fellows. He was a proud stepfather to David Fredenburg, Christopher Fredenburg, Joshua (Leslie) Fredenburg, Betsy (Kevin) Rothrock, and Jeromy (Shai) Miller. James was also blessed with 17 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, who brought immense joy to his life. He will be fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.

James was preceded in death by his father, Donald Fellows, mother, Evelyn Fellows, his son Terry “T.W.” Church, and his siblings Lucian “Joe” Fellows, Bobby Fellows, Jeff Fellows, Timmy Fellows, and David Fellows.

A dedicated and hardworking man, James served as a Shipping Supervisor at S.S.A.C. in Liverpool, New York. His colleagues remember him for his commitment and integrity.

Outside of work, James found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed camping and fishing during the summers. He had a fondness for classic television programs like “Gunsmoke” and took great pride in his collection of garden gnomes. Above all, James cherished the time spent with his family and his beloved pets, including his dogs and cat.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 1-3 PM at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. A service celebrating James’ life will immediately follow. Friends and family are invited to leave special messages and memories for the family at www.fosterfuneralhome.com.

James E. Fellows will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love, kindness, and dedication will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
