PHOENIX, NY – Joan M. Clark, age 90 of Fulton, NY formerly of Phoenix, NY and Winter Haven, FL, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Donald I Clark; her son, Donald “Gary” Clark and his wife Gloria Clark; her siblings, Elizabeth Mielnicki, Gordon Adsit, and John Adsit; grandsons,Jake Harrington and David Clark; and great-grandson, Daniel Catherman.

Joan is survived by her loving children, Cynthia (Lennie) Longo, Russell (Polly Corcuera) Clark and Perry Clark; grandchildren, Nicholas (Amanda) Longo, Patrick (Mackenzi) Longo, Donna Catherman, Robert and Thomas Clark; 8 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Beverly Finch; several nieces and nephews.

Joan was a retired bus driver from Phoenix Central Schools after many years of service andduring that time also served as CSEA President. She was extremely active in Phoenix Band Boosters and was a softball coach. She also during the summers worked at Brennan Beach where she worked in the office and as a security guard.  Joan was an avid Bingo player and loved bowling in many leagues while she could. Joan enjoyed a nice cool Bud light and watching a football game. She was a spitfire and was known for her quick wit and humor. She was known for her motto, “Get A Grip!” She loved spending time with her family, she especially loved hanging out with Rylan, Abryelle, Beckett, and Carter. Joan was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend who will be sorely missed by all who loved and knew her.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Loralie Longo for the time spent helping Mom with medication, meals, and just being with her when other relatives were unable to.
