FULTON – Julie Mary Tetro Holt, 99, of Fulton died February 4, 2023. Born in Fulton to the late Joseph and Adeline (Raymon) Tetro, she was a life resident.
Mrs. Holt was a graduate of Fulton City Schools, where she had participated in many sports. She had retired from Birdseye Foods, where she worked from 1970-1980. She had also worked at Nestle Co. from 1942-1946, Sealright from 1946-1954 and the Chamber of Commerce from 1955-1965, all in Fulton.
Mrs. Holt was a communicant of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
She loved crocheting and knitting and was an expert at both. Julie also enjoyed making her famous Italian Christmas cookies, playing cards and shopping at Macy’s.
She was a member of V.F.W. Post 569, Fulton Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Raymond L. Holt and eight siblings.
Mrs. Holt is survived by her children, Sandra Rae Holt, Leslie (Sharon) Holt, both of Fulton and Dr. Raymond (Karin) Holt of Myrtle Beach, SC; grandchildren, Jessica, David, Olivia, Reeves, Coral and Rylee; great-grandchildren, Joslyn, Mia, Giavonna, Amelia, Lucas, Logan and Maggie, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m., Monday, February 20 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, corner of Rochester and S. Third streets, Fulton. Calling hours will be Sunday, February 19 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton.
Spring burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.
