June D. Cotton

FULTON – October 21, 2024, June D. Cotton, 92, of Volney, NY, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2024, at St. Luke’ s nursing home with her husband by her side. She was born in Geneva, to the late Gloyd and Elsie Davis. June was a dedicated wife, mother and caregiver. She would take care of her family, friends, neighbors, and the church with anything they needed. June will always be remembered for being a giving member of the community. She loved animals but especially had a love for horses, horseback riding in the Volney parade, and to the corner store to pick up groceries for everybody. June was predeceased by her three brothers, Leon, Homer, and Darwin “Bud” Davis; her twin sister, Jean Davis; and her in-laws, Thomas and Hazel Cotton.

Surviving are her husband of 69 years, Richard E. Cotton; three children, Deborah (Jack) Torbitt, Michael (Jennifer) Cotton, Charles M. Cotton; seven grandchildren, Blair, Aaron, Zachary, Shelby, Brady, Riley, and Derek; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be from 11-1 pm on Friday, November 1^st at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton with a service to follow at 1 pm. Burial will be at North Volney Cemetery, Co. Rte. 4, Volney.
