Leigh ‘Lee’ E. Pooler, 91

HANNIBAL, NY – Leigh “Lee” E. Pooler, 91, of Granby, passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 8, 2018, resulting from injuries suffered from being struck by a motor vehicle at his home.

He was the son of the late James and Helen Waugh Pooler.

Lee retired after many years as a heavy equipment mechanic at Northern Ready Mix in Fulton.

He enjoyed his beef cattle farm and his several farm tractors.

Lee served in the U.S. Army from 1945-49.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Edith Erb Pooler, who died in 2000.

Surviving are his wife, Norma Bellinger Pooler, of Granby; two daughters, Sandy Huey (Joe) of Skaneateles and Nancy Wiltse (Hugh Besong) of Midland, Pa.; step-children, A.J. Lagoe Jr. of Michigan, Susan Cady of North Carolina, Dennis Lagoe of East Syracuse and Gary Lagoe of Hastings; and several step-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, March 11, at Foster Funeral Home, Inc., 837 Cayuga St., Hannibal, NY.

There are no calling hours.
