FULTON – Leonard R. Pringle age 96 of Fulton, NY passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024, with his family by his side. He was predeceased by his wife of 74 years, Violet Pringle; son, Russell D. Pringle; and son-in-law, Bob Canale.
Leonard is survived by children, Myron (Suzanne) Pringle and Melinda Canale; daughter-in-law, Luann Pringle; grandchildren, Roy, Bryan, Jeanie, Stacie, Marie (Chris), and Mark (Lindsay); and 5 great-grandchildren.
Leonard was a proud US Army veteran serving in WWII. Leonard worked with Nestle Co. for many years then went to work for the Oswego Sheriff’s Department serving for 15 years before retiring. He enjoyed fishing, taking care of his garden, camping and hunting with his beloved wife Violet. He enjoyed spending time with his family at family reunions and family picnics and especially spending time with his grandchildren. Leonard was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024, from 11am to 1pm with a funeral service to follow at 1pm at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton.
