Linda M. Carter

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Linda M. Carter on June 23, 2026, at the age of 83. Linda was born on March 9, 1943, in Cato, New York; arriving memorably in the back of an ambulance, a story that reflected her spirited nature from the very beginning. She was a strong, determined woman who deeply loved her family and took great pride in the life she built with them.

Linda was predeceased by her parents, Clyde B. Green and Alice E. (Dolson) Green; her husband, Carl S. Carter; her sons, Danny Carter, Richard Carter, and Rickie Carter, stepdaughters Joyce Glaser and Carol Carter, stepson Michael Carter, and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her children: Tina Stock, Darrell Green, Tammy Carter, Debbie Munro, and her stepdaughter, Celia Carter. She is also survived by her sisters Janice Darling (Norman Darling) and Lois Kyle, and her brother Richard Green, along with many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Linda’s strength, unmistakable laugh and strong spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.
