Lois B. Campolieta, 83

FULTON, NY – Lois B. Campolieta, 83, of Fulton, passed away Sunday August 25, 2013, at Highland Hospital of Rochester.

She was a native of Syracuse and had resided in Fulton since 1954.

A graduate of Nottingham High School, Lois had attended and graduated from Syracuse University in 1951.

Following graduation, she began teaching English at Fulton High School, where she met her husband, Joe, and enjoyed 56 years of marriage.

Lois was a faithful communicant of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fulton where she had served as a lector, Eucharistic minister, greeter and was a member of the Parish Council.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading and walking in the mall with her friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph N. Campolieta, who passed away in 2011.

Lois is survived by her three sons, Joseph (Nancy Grandin) Campolieta of Simsbury, Conn., Paul (Rhonda) Campolieta and Robert (Laura) Campolieta all of Fulton; six grandchildren, Daniel (Kristen), Mary, Alaina, Sara, Brett and Katherine Campolieta; many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Friday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, corner of Rochester and South Third streets, Fulton, with burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Fulton.

Calling hours will be held 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
