FULTON, NY – Loma J. Smithers Brant, 69, of Granby, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday June 7, 2013.
She retired in 2007 from the housekeeping department at Sunrise Nursing Home in Oswego after 15 years and had worked as bookkeeper for her husband at Al Brant’s Collision in Fulton.
She had enjoyed bowling and gardening.
Loma was predeceased by her husband of 18 years, Elgin “Al” Brant, in 2001.
Surviving are her children, Rose (Steve) Debo of Syracuse, Anette (Burley) Pierce of Alabama, Nelson (Char) Leach Jr. and Daniel (Colleen) Leach all of Fulton; two brothers, Ron (Barb) Smithers of Phoenix and Lance (Vicki) Smithers of Florida; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton with services immediately following.
