FULTON, NY – Margaret “Peg” Pickard, 76, of Fulton, passed away Sunday September 8, 2013, with her family by her side.
She was born in Fulton, a daughter to Marjorie Hopkins and the late Glenn Hopkins.
Peg retired from the Oswego County Court Offices in Oswego.
She enjoyed gardening, crafts and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her father, she was predeceased by a son, Michael A. Pickard, who died in 1977.
She is survived by two sons, Darren (Lise) Pickard and Steven (Carrie Emmons) Pickard both of Fulton; her mother, Marjorie Hopkins of Oriskany Falls; three brothers, Robert (Valerie) Hopkins of Fulton, David (Barbara) Hopkins of Phelps, NY and Bruce (MerryBeth) Hopkins of Oriskany Falls; three granddaughters, Shannon (Matthew) Rathbun, Kelsey and Addison Pickard.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Bristol Hill Congregational United Church of Christ, 3199 State Route 3, Fulton.
Burial will be in Mount Adnah Cemetery, Fulton.
Calling hours will be held 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
