OSWEGO – Mark E. Gentile, age 66 of Oswego, NY passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, February 2, 2023. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Janice Gentile; parents, August and Pearl Gentile; and brother, Augie Gentile.
Mark is survived by his loving children, Christopher (Amber) Gentile, Nicole (Jeremy) Powers and Mark (Tiffany) Gentile; grandchildren, David, Riley, Brooklyn, Parker, Amalia, and Carter; siblings, Cindy Caracci, Tony (Felicia) Gentile, Pattie (Bob) Brace, and Shelly (Mark) Bailey; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Mark was a nature enthusiast, he mostly enjoyed fishing. He spent many years working in the pizza industry and was known for his spectacular pizza making skills.
He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mark’s name may be made to Fulton Youth Hockey Association, P.O. Box 683, Fulton, NY 13069.
A celebration of Mark’s life will be held at Chubby’s Sports Bar & Grill Banquet Hall, 224 W 1st St S, Fulton, NY 13069 on Friday, February 10, 2023, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m..
