HANNIBAL, NY – Mary E. Patane, 96, of Hannibal, passed away Friday October 18, 2013, at Blossom View Nursing Home in Sodus.
She was born in Hannibal, a daughter to the late Fred and Ellen Malone.
Mary retired in 1987 as the receptionist for Dr. Angelo Arena in Hannibal, where she worked for 25 years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Myron L. Patane, who died January 8, 1996.
Mary is survived by a daughter, Helen (Richard) Gigliotti of Marion; a son, James (Pauline) Patane of Goffstown, NH; grandchildren, Anne Gigliotti, Kellie Herrick, Michael and Ryan Patane; one great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Herrick; four siblings, Theresa Patane, Agnes LaClair, Paul Malone and Maurice Malone.
Calling hours will be held 10 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga St., Hannibal.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Foster Funeral Home, Hannibal, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at noon at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Hannibal.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.
