It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael F. Miller, who left us unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 1st, 2026, at the age of 44. Born on Monday, May 10th, 1982, in Syracuse, New York, Michael was a cherished resident of Fulton, NY, where he spent his life surrounded by family and friends.
Michael is survived by his loving mother, Rose (Bill) Darby of Fulton, NY, and his devoted siblings, Dustin (Kay) Hoffman, Alex (Jenna) Preeman, and Amanda (Josh) Preeman. He was a beloved uncle to his nieces, Rachelle Preeman and Ariana Preeman. Michael also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a wide circle of friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his father, William E. Miller, his maternal grandparents, Fred and Doris Caswell, his paternal grandparents, Bill and Olga Lawrence, and his sisters, Mari Anne Miller and Jennifer Miller.
Michael was a man of many interests and passions. He was an avid reader and found joy in playing games like Fortnite. Music was a constant companion in his life, and he found solace and community in attending church. Above all, Michael treasured the time spent with his family, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., with a funeral service to follow at 12 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton, NY. Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate Michael’s life and share in the love he brought to those around him.
