FULTON, NY – Michele R. “Shelley” Coant, 56, of Fulton, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2013, at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse after a brief illness.
She worked at Huhtamaki in Fulton for 36 years and was currently a working foreman in the shipping department.
Shelley was the senior vice president of the V.F. W. Post 569 Auxiliary and a member of B.P.O.E. Lodge 830 and Fulton Polish Home.
She enjoyed bowling and auto racing.
Shelley was predeceased by her husband of 14 years, Ronald Coant, in 2004.
Surviving are her children, Kathlene (Michael) Smith and twins, Chelsey and Tiffany Coant; grandchildren, Paige, Joshua, Trenton, Jaiden and Jake; parents, Harvey and Mary Niccoli Seymour; siblings, Russell (Dawn) Seymour, Mary Beth (Floyd) LaClair and Ernest (Michelle) Seymour Sr.; uncle, John Niccoli; aunts, Trudy and Dorothy Niccoli; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton, with burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Fulton.
Calling hours will be held 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
