Muriel Pluff, 96

FULTON, NY – Muriel Pluff, 96, of Oswego, passed away Monday October 13, 2014, at St. Luke Health Services in Oswego.

Born in Fulton, she was a resident of the Phoenix and Fulton area before moving to Florida for 25 years and returning to the area in 2006.

Muriel retired after 10 years of service at Nestle Co. in Fulton.

She enjoyed fishing with her father and golfing with her husband.

Muriel loved watercolor painting.

She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Francis A. Pluff, who died in 2009; a son, David A. Pluff, in 2005; and by a sister, Betty Arnold.

Mrs. Pluff is survived by two sons, Bill (Maureen) Pluff of Oswego and Richard Pluff of Florida; four grandchildren; three great-granddaughters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Monday, October 20, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 309 Buffalo St., Fulton.

Burial will be in Phoenix Rural Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
