FULTON, NY – Myrlene D. Powell Livingston, 87, of Fulton, died Sunday October 21, 2012, at Oswego Hospital.
Born on February 17, 1925, in Syracuse, she was the daughter of the late George and Sarah (DeMass) Powell.
Myrlene was raised in Belgium, NY, and graduated from Baldwinsville Academy in 1942.
She had resided in Fulton since 1958.
Myrlene was a member of the First United Church of Fulton.
She was an admissions clerk at A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital for 17 years, retiring in 1983.
Myrlene was predeceased by her husband, Frederick Livingston, who died February 6, 1990; a son, Fred Michael Livingston, who died August 31, 1992; a daughter, Susan E. Haste, who died in November 17, 2009; and by a brother, Robert Powell.
She is survived by a daughter, Sally Wilkins of Fulton; a son, Jack P. Livingston of Syracuse; a brother, George E. (Jean) Powell of Whiting, NJ; five grandchildren, Sean Haste, Kelly Wallace, Shannon Burrell, Tara DePuy and Gregory Wilkins; two step-granddaughters, Michelle Rathbun and Lisa Wicker; 15 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Myrlene may be made to the First United Church of Fulton, 33 S. Third St., Fulton, NY 13069.
