FULTON – December 28, 2024, Nicole Patricia Grenz, 46, of Fulton, NY passed away December 28, 2024, after a brief, difficult battle with pancreatic cancer.

Nicole was born in Schwabach, Germany and immigrated to the United States with her mother in the early 1980s.  She attended Fulton City Schools and graduated in 1996. She held various jobs from telemarketing, collections, to working at one of the larger law firms in Syracuse.  Nicole spent time as an assistant for the Adirondack Landowners Association, an organization that fought for protection for private landowners in the Adirondack Region.  She also was co-owner of ‘R Bar.’

Nicole was an avid artist that enjoyed painting, woodworking, woodburning, candle and soap making and other art forms.  Nicole was always active and enjoyed outdoor activities that included camping, fishing, and golfing at Emerald Crest in Palermo.  She enjoyed spending time in the yard and garden and with her indoor plants.  Nicole enjoyed animals and always had pets and liked visiting the Rosamond Gifford Zoo and The Wild Center.  Nicole was always involved in her favorite activities with her boyfriend and children and constantly looking for new things to work on. Nicole was predeceased by her grandparents, George and Frieda Sheldon.

She is survived by her boyfriend, “Love Nugget” David Nevin; her parents, Dave and Ingrid Smith; her sisters, Raelynn Platt (Smith), and April Kowalski (Smith); her niece, Kara; her boyfriend’s parents, “Big Daddy” Bruce and “Mother Theresa” Terry Nevin; Uncle George Sheldon, Aunt Pat Wood, Uncle Dieter, and her two chosen sons, “The Chosen One” Aodhan Nevin and “The Boss” Ciaran Nevin.

A gathering of friends to be announced at a later date. Burial will be in Mt. Adnah Cemetery. Foster Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
