FULTON – Richard “Happy” L. Guernsey, Jr., age 60 of Fulton, New York, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, with his family by his side.
He was predeceased by his wife, Kolleen Guernsey in 2021; parents, Richard and Carolyn Guernsey, Sr.; sisters, Brenda, and Linda Guernsey; brothers, Frankie, David and Don Guernsey.
Happy is survived by his loving children, Amanda (Kyle Bonaparte) Guernsey and Michael (Alexis Cornwell) Guernsey; grandchild, Keyiara Guernsey; sister, Billie Jo (John) Iden, Michelle (Amos) Dubois and Donna (John) Derby; brother, Tom Guernsey; several nieces nephews and friends.
Happy was a kindhearted person who would give his shirt off his back to anyone in need. He was avid RAMS fan and he enjoyed going fishing. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend who will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Burial will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022, at 2 p.m. in Cato Union Hill Cemetery, Cato, NY.
