FULTON – Roberta J. “Bert” Wallace, 94, of Fulton, New York, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Seneca Hill Manor.

She was born in 1927, in Fulton, a daughter to the late Harry and Anna (Owens) Miller. She was a lifetime resident and graduated from Fulton High School in 1944. Bert retired from Fulton City School District at Lanigan School as a lunch monitor and aide after 33 years. She was a lifetime member of the former First Congregational United Church of Christ. Bert has a lifelong passion for Bingo, Bunco, word searches and spent many years as a member of bowling leagues and her Pinochle card club. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, Ju Ju and Gigi.

Bert was predeceased by her husband, John “Shorty” Wallace in 1993.

She will be greatly missed and forever loved by her three children, Gary Wallace, Suzanne (Steve) Loveless and Sandra (Dan) Shue all of Fulton; five grandchildren, Tracey (Neil) Farber, Timothy (Maria) Loveless, Todd (Nicole) Loveless, Brittany (Skylar) Drake and Valentina Shue; eight great-grandchildren, Kolten, Kadrie, Kacen, Alexandra, Tenley, Ethan, Vivian and Lainey as well as many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 6 p.m. A private family burial will be in Mt. Adnah Cemetery, Fulton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Adnah Cemetery, 706 East Broadway, Fulton, NY 13069 or to Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital, Syracuse, in Bert’s memory.

The family would like to extend their sincerest appreciation to many at Seneca Manor who not only cared for Roberta but who also went out of their way to make her days there happy ones.
