FULTON, NY – Ruth L. Cooper, 88, of Fulton, passed away Saturday Aug. 4, 2012.
Born in Fulton, she had lived between Fulton and Florida for many years.
Ruth had worked at General Electric, Birdseye, Comstock and SYROCO.
She was a member of Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church.
She was also a member of the Moose Club, enjoyed bowling, sewing and collecting teddy bears.
Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Edward E. Cooper, in 1995; and a son, Douglas J. Cooper; and grandson, Michael Cooper.
She is survived by her children, Jeannette (Danny) Gober of Granby, Darrell (Dolores) Cooper of Fulton, Nelson (Christa) Cooper of Florida and Larry (Sheila) Cooper of Florida; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday with a noon service immediately following at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
