Ruth M. Webber, 87

FULTON, NY – Ruth M. Webber, 87, of Fulton, died peacefully and gracefully in her sleep on Tuesday June 24, 2014, after recovering from hip surgery at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse.

Ruth was to love and be loved.

Everyone who knew or had the opportunity to meet Ruth loved the sweet, kind person she was.

Ruth’s love for her family is all she lived for.

She was the strongest person you would ever meet.

Ruth survived the Great Depression and World War II; she never asked for much and gave all in return.

Ruth worked for 35 years at Sealright in Fulton.

She enjoyed listening to music and loved to dance, but the most important part of her life was her children.

She was predeceased by her husband, Albert Webber Sr., who died in 2006; and by several brothers and sisters.

Ruth is survived by her children, Susan Marie (John) DeMar of Las Cruces, NM, David (Lee) Webber and Albert (Francine) Webber Jr. both of Fulton; a sister, May Clark of Phoenix; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held 9:30 a.m. Saturday at All Saints Episcopal Church, 153 S. First St., Fulton.

Burial will be in Chase Cemetery, Lysander.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.

Contributions in memory of Mrs. Webber may be made to the American Red Cross, 344 W. Genesee St., Syracuse, NY 13202.
