FULTON, NY – Sara S. Heagerty, 37, of Oswego, died Friday September 19, 2014.
She was born in Oswego and lived most of her life in Fulton.
Sara enjoyed reading, going on long walks and loved animals.
She was predeceased by her father, Clarence T. Heagerty Jr., who died February 14, 2002; her grandmothers, Marcia Whitcomb and Julia Youngs.
She is survived by her four children; her mother, Robin Heagerty of Florida; four sisters, Lori Godfrey of Buffalo, Pepper Richardson of Fulton, Cricket Kentsinger of Pennsylvania and Jessica Hutchinson of Utica; four brothers, Clarence Heagerty III of North Carolina, Chadwick Heagerty of North Carolina, Sean Heagerty of Auburn and Matthew Heagerty of Canandaigua; several nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. October 1, at the First United Methodist Church of Mexico, 4372 Church St., Mexico, NY.
