FULTON, NY – Theresa A. Truax, 63, of Palermo, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, from an illness she had been dealing with for an extended period of time.
She was born on December 3, 1952, in Syracuse, a daughter to the late John and Kathleen Witte Young.
Terry had worked as a bookkeeper for Price Chopper for many years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Wayne Sr.; and infant brother, Phillip.
She will be greatly missed and forever loved by her three children, Wayne Jr. (Marie) of Cicero, David of Dumfries, Va., and Julie Weaver of Hannibal; eight grandchildren, Ashley, Lily, Tristan, Sophie, Nick, Brianna, Zachary and Adrianna; two brothers, John (Wendy) Young of North Carolina and Steve (Jean) Young of Auburn; one sister, Kathy Livingston of Fulton; loyal companions, Dopey and Sparkey; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, February 28, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton, in the spring.
