FULTON – Beloved wife, mother, & grandmother passed away Friday, March 1st, 2024 at the age of 71 surrounded by her loving family. Arrangements are with Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton, N.Y. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 13, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm with a memorial service to follow at 5:00 pm at the funeral home.
Valerie was born on Nov. 17, 1952 in Fort Devens, Mass. She was the daughter of the late John W. “Jack’ & Lucy Gorr. She grew up in Star Lake, NY and attended Clifton Fine Central School. She married Lee A. Noel on April 13, 1988. She is survived by her husband Lee; children, Lee (Tara) Noel, Angie (Dylan) Molchanoff, Melissa (Brian) Mattice and Tracey (Ryan) Landis; grandchildren, Nathan (Katera) Noel, SPC 4 Caiden Russell, Sabrina Noel, Anabel Donovan, Vanessa Noel, Ayla Noel, Nick (Megan) Mattice, Tyler (Cailee) Mattice, Jason (Spencer) Mattice, Ryan (Emily) Frataccia and Courtney (Andy) Hutchins; a sister Donna (Frank) Whitelaw, and many loving extended family & friends.
She worked previously at Robinson’s General Store in Cranberry Lake, Goldberg’s Furniture Store, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Lowe’s before retiring in 2022.
Valerie cherished spending time with her beloved grandchildren, her loving cat Kitty, and many trips to Cocoa, Florida.
By all who knew and loved her, Valerie will always be lovingly remembered as a true & dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, & friend.
