FULTON – Winton P. Reed, a beloved resident of Baldwinsville, NY, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 4th, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on Monday, October 3rd, 1955, in Syracuse, New York, Winton lived a life marked by dedication, strength, and a love for simple joys.

Winton was a self-employed sheet rock specialist, known for his meticulous craftsmanship from a young age. His work was not just a profession but a testament to his commitment and attention to detail. Beyond his professional life, Winton was an avid horseshoe pitcher, a pastime that brought him great joy and camaraderie. He also cherished watching football with his long-time housemate, Lynn Puhala, with whom he shared 29 wonderful years. Together, they cheered passionately for the San Francisco 49ers, creating countless cherished memories.

Winton was preceded in death by his parents, Winton Eugene Reed and Barbara Ellen Reed, as well as his brother, Gary Reed. He is survived by his devoted housemate, Lynn Louise Puhala of Baldwinsville, NY, his sister Laurel Hines and her husband Alan, along with several nieces and nephews who will fondly remember him.

Winton was well known for his physical strength, a trait that complemented his gentle and kind nature. His legacy is one of hard work, loyalty, and the simple pleasures of life.
