FULTON – Zola H. Holbrook, age 102, formerly of Fulton, NY passed away peacefully on July 26, 2026, in Lowville, NY. Zola was born June 1, 1924, to the late Grant & Rolene Ensworth of Fairdale, NY.
Zola was predeceased by her beloved husband of 62 years, Manley Holbrook, her daughter, Jerrie R. Hayden and eight sisters: Ariel, Kathleen Gray, Maejean Murphy, Lois Giannetto, Sally Ensworth, Judy, Temple Smith, and Shannon Beale.
Zola is survived by her son, Asa J. (Pamela) Holbrook; daughter, Martha A. (David) Swick; grandchildren, Dina (Randy) Munger, Darin (Becky) Hayden, Damian (Amy) Hayden, Robin (Joe) Arigo, Cynthia (Michael) Rogers, Heath J. (Cathy) Holbrook, Heather L. (Joe) Gallagher, David J. (Melissa Bennett) Swick and Eric C. (Maegan) Swick; Several great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Zola will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 11am at First United Church, 33 S. Third Street, Fulton, NY. Pastor Cedric Broughton will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family where Zola will be laid to rest with her beloved husband, Manley, at Vermillion Cemetery, New Haven, NY.
