RICHLAND – Daryl (Duff) Dyer, age 69 of Richland, NY and Pittsburgh, PA passed away peacefully at the home of his niece in Pulaski, NY on October 15, 2026.
Daryl was born March 17,1957 in Syracuse, NY to the late Raymond Dyer and Eilene Tilkins. He lived his younger years in Richland, NY, but Pittsburgh, PA was where he called home. Daryl graduated from Pulaski High School. He later earned his bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies. Daryl found fulfillment in helping those often overlooked by society, as he spent countless hours helping to feed the homeless and offering what he could to those in need.
His humor was bold, unfiltered, and often delightfully inappropriate. He had a gift for making people laugh and a knack for saying what others might only think. Known for his quick wit and unforgettable sense of humor, he could make anyone laugh. His jokes and comments were always unmistakably him.
Daryl is survived by his sister, Beverly Ackley; cherished friend, Debbie Luzik; and a small handful of nieces and nephews who he thought very highly of. He left his nieces and nephews with memories that will never be forgotten.
Daryl is predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Eilene; stepfather, Joe Skotnicki Sr; brother, Paul Dyer; brother, Pete Dyer; and brother Joe Skotnicki Jr.
A private family ceremony will be held at a later date.
