HANNIBAL – Donald “Scott” Allen, 73, of Hannibal died on June 5, at the VA Hospital with his family by his side.

Scott was a United States Marine Corps Veteran.  He served in Vietnam. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He was involved in fishing clubs.  He once earned the Angler of the year award.  He had a talent for woodworking which he truly enjoyed doing.  He was able to make everything from jewelry to furniture with his woodworking skills.

Scott is survived by his wife, Pamela; daughter, Wendy of California; stepchildren, Amy (John) Delahunt, Neil Jr. (Sonja) Palmer; three grandchildren, Sophie Delahunt, Jeremy Palmer, and Jayce Palmer; sister, Janna, and several special nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his father Robert (Betty); mother, Ida; brother Dana Allen and Timm Allen.

There will be a memorial service held on Friday June 14, at 1:00 pm, at the Hannibal Global Methodist Church, 320 Church Steet, Hannibal, NY, and a reception immediately following at the Hannibal American Legion.
