OSWEGO – Michael P. France, 59, of Oswego, passed away unexpectedly on March 25, 2026. He was an avid race fan and part owner of Coon-France Motorsports.
Michael was predeceased by his father, Phillip Kelly of Oswego; grandparents, Ted and Lena Quesnell of Oswego, and Robert France of Mexico; and his cat and best friend Oscar.
He is survived by his children, Dustin (Tiffany) France of Oswego, Stephanie France of Oswego, and Mikey France of Mexico; stepdaughter, Ericka Hall of Oswego; mother, Sue France-Dashnau of Fulton; siblings, Robert (Lori) Kelly of Fulton, Andrea Hartman of Fulton, Phillip (Kathy) Kelly of Fulton, Heather Weldin of Hannibal, and Joseph Dashnau of Fulton; Uncle, Richard France of Scriba; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
There will be a celebration of life on Saturday April 18, 2026, at noon at the Fulton Elks Lodge, 57 Pierce Drive, Fulton, NY.
