OSWEGO – Baldevbhai Patel, age 85, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and a man deeply committed to his community, Baldevbhai lived a life marked by service, integrity, and quiet strength.
Born with a deep respect for nature and a dedication to protecting it, he built his career as a forest ranger, a role he carried out with pride and purpose. His days spent among the trees and wildlife brought him joy, and he was known for his profound knowledge of the land as well as his unwavering commitment to conservation. In his later years, he also developed a keen interest in political news, staying actively engaged in current affairs and discussing the world with curiosity and insight.
Baldevbhai is survived by his beloved wife, Bhagvati Patel; his son, Dixit Patel, and daughter-in-law, Binita Patel; and his daughter, Nutan Patel, and son-in-law, Deepak Sindhakar. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Sohm and Zeel, who brought immense joy to his life.
He will be remembered for his gentle guidance, his love for nature, and the deep values he instilled in those around him. His legacy lives on in the family he cherished and the lives he touched.
