Carl J. Ditoro Jr.

FULTON – Carl J. Ditoro Jr., 74, of Fulton, New York, passed away on November 15, 2022, with his loving family by his side. 

Born in Fulton, he was the son of the late Carl J. Sr. and Doris (Johnson) McCollum.

Carl was a graduate of Fulton High School.  He married his wife of 46 years Sarah (Brown) and they raised their daughter Janice.

Carl worked at Huhtamaki for more than 44 years, but he always knew it as Sealright. He looked forward to his annual trip to the Syracuse Mets game, was an avid reader, and a talented caligrapher. Carl loved his family and adored his grandchildren.

Carl is survived by his loving wife Sarah, his daughter Janice (Jason) and grandchildren Grace, Eve, and Seth Hibbert, all of Scriba, his brothers John Ditoro and Sherman McCollum, sisters Sandra Egloff, Linda Capizzi, and Carleen McCollum, and several nieces and nephews. 

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, November 21, 2022, from 3-5 pm with a service with Rev. George DeMass presiding to follow, at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany Street.

Arrangements are under the caring guidance of Nelson Funeral Home.
