PENNELLVILLE – Christopher Sean Allen, 56, of Pennellville, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023. He was born on November 28, 1967 to James and Marie (Cangemi) Allen in Syracuse, New York.
Chris loved working in his garden which in turn fed in to one of his other passions ? cooking. He loved working with his hands, and being outside as much as possible. He was an avid athlete who loved playing football and basketball. He had a very charismatic personality, who touched so many people.
Chris was predeceased by his parents, James R. Allen in 1993 and Marie Ann (Cangemi) Allen in 2021.
He is survived by his children, Alicia Marie (Matthew) Goering and Christopher Sean Burgett; siblings, James Allen, Terese (Jeff) Allen?Dean, Michael (Karen)Allen, Joseph (Cara) Allen, Mark (Steffinie) Allen; 5 grandchildren: Everett Allen, Jeremy, Adalynn, Riley and Skylar Goering; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A private ceremony will be held. Arrangements are in the caring guidance of Nelson Funeral Home, Oswego.
